Holiday Time

I will be away on my holiday with the family when this is published on the site. We have a two week break, another week at home, and then I am back to training towards the end of June.

There is a lot of work to do if Sale as a team are to play to the standard that we know we can. We now have a new coach joining the team so things will be a bit different as they always are when someone new joins. Ben Cohen Summer 2010

Pre-season training is hard but enjoyable. It's where we get our bodies ready for the season ahead so there is a lot of conditioning with weights and building of muscle to get us all in shape (especially after a few weeks of pigging out on holiday!)

I have been really busy around the garden and stables at home and moved tons of rocks around the edges to keep the weeds under control. I am pleased with it. It looks really nice and we picked a good week to do it with warm sunshine every day. Everything was going fine until Jonny drove the dumper truck into a ditch. Never mind. We got it out in the end with the help of a heavy tow from a local farmer.

I have now mastered the art of Twitter and am keeping everyone up to date as it is easy to do on my phone when I am out and about. It's good to be able to keep in touch with some of the boys as well and see what they are getting up to. You can follow me on @RugbyBenCohen.

Thanks to everyone who got involved and voted for the best pictures for the signed canvas prints. They are now available in the shop. Jill will bring them up to me to sign and I can put a dedication on a certificate for the rear if you choose. I was really impressed when I saw the first ones, even though it was a picture of me which is always a bit strange.(online shop )

We are planning a calendar for next year and this time the shoot will take place at the end of the summer rather than November like 2010. We are currently in the planning stage but things are taking shape and we think you will like the result. We still have some 2010 calendars left (just a few) and I have signed them to make them a bit more special as it is June after all.

We are keen to source someone who can help us distribute the 2011 calendar in the USA or shops that would be interested in stocking some over there. Perhaps you could email us and let us know if you have any ideas. That way we can keep the shipping costs down.

Keep sending in your emails and messages on Twitter and Facebook. Thanks again for your support. Enjoy the summer.

Best wishes

Ben
